Everton are continuing to revamp their backroom staff in the wake of Kevin Thelwell's appointment as director of football.
The Blues are now advertising for a new "Head of Performance Analysis and Insights" following the departure of Paul Graley earlier this month, as reported by Training Ground Guru. He had been with the club for 13 years and rose through the ranks to eventually become Head of Performance Analysis in 2020.
Now Everton are looking for a replacement in that role as they continue to revamp their team off the pitch. The description for the position describes why the club are placing so much emphasis on data analysis to help improve themselves on the pitch.

The job description says: "Data analytics and insight have come to play an integral role in football - and here at Everton we continue to look at how we gain a competitive edge on and off the pitch. We feel that by using data to extract insights we can improve player performance, prevent injuries, and measure our alignment to coaching philosophy.
"Due to this evolution, we have an exciting opportunity for a data and insight driven leader to come and join us as our new Head of Performance Analysis & Insights. As Head of Performance Analysis & Insights you will work closely with our Director of Football and will lead the strategic and operational development of a comprehensive, multi-disciplinary performance analysis & insights service across First Team and Academy."
This is the latest in a number of changes that have been made since Thelwell joined the club as director of football. David Unsworth left the club earlier this year, with the decision being made to split the roles of under-23s manager and Director of Academy.
Interviews for both of those positions have already taken place, with The Athletic recently reporting that former Wolves man Gareth Prosser could be in prime place to take the latter role. He has previously worked with Thelwell in a similar position in the past, although it's not yet clear when Everton plan to make announcements on either role with pre-season approaching in the coming weeks.
Meanwhile the club also appointed Kevin Nicholson to a Coach Educator role in April, which should help all levels of the academy and first team play with similar styles.
