Pre-season training is back underway at Finch Farm and Frank Lampard is already trying to shape his Everton side into one that will fair far better than it did last season.
New signing James Tarkowski is on board but Blues boss Lampard and director of football Kevin Thelwell will be looking to add further new faces in the coming weeks.
And, with Evertonians wanting to see the money gained from the sale of Richarlison reinvested in the playing squad, here's a round-up of the latest transfer rumours concerning the Blues.

Who?
Morgan Gibbs-White
Where?
What?
Everton are hoping the influence of director of football Thelwell will help them land Wolves midfielder Morgan Gibbs-White. But the Blues face stiff competition from newly-promoted Nottingham Forest, with their manager Steve Cooper looking to be reunited with a player that he helped win the Under 17s World Cup as England coach five years ago.
According to The Athletic, Wolves will look for a fee of around £30million for the 22-year-old, who successfully spent last season on loan with Sheffield United. Thelwell, worked with Gibbs-White at Molineux, when he was the club's technical director.
The black country club has attempted to convince their player to sign a new two-year deal, but his reluctance to do so could see them cash in on him this summer.
Who?
Anthony Gordon
Where?
Why?
Newcastle United are interested in taking Anthony Gordon to St James' Park, but he is not their top target, according to 90mins.
That's because the cash-rich Geordies are reportedly preparing to table a club record bid to capture French winger Moussa Diaby from Bayer Leverkusen.
The Magpies' firm interest in Diaby, who would cost in excess of £40million, is good news for Evertonians, who will no doubt want to hold on to an exciting young talent like Gordon, who has also been subject of interest from Tottenham Hotspur.
Who?
Armando Broja
Where?
What?
Armando Broja is set for showdown talks with Thomas Tuchel as he looks to thrash out his future at Chelsea amid Everton interest.
Broja, who has been with the Stamford Bridge outfit for over a decade, has spent the last two seasons out on loan, netting 11 goals in 34 games for Dutch side Vitesse Arnhem in 2020/21 and nine in 38 matches for Southampton last term. Capable of playing as a centre-forward or out on the wing, 6ft 3in Broja offers the kind of versatility up front to fill the void left after Richarlison’s £60million move to Tottenham Hotspur.
The ECHO understands that along with free agent Jesse Lingard, Broja is one of several potential replacements being considered by Lampard and Thelwell for the Brazilian.
