Kevin Rutkiewicz axed as East Kilbride hint that new boss is incoming

East Kilbride have announced a 'parting of the ways' with boss Kevin Rutkiewicz after a year in the job, and on the eve of their Lowland League clash at Edinburgh University.

Kilby are seventh in the table, with 16 wins, six draws and nine defeats from their 31 games so far.

They are 15 points off top club The Spartans.

A statement issued by the K-Park club read: "East Kilbride Football Club announce the parting of the ways with manager, Kevin Rutkiewicz.

"Kevin helped guide the club to Lowland League Cup success, shortly after his arrival, one year ago.

"The club would like to thank Kevin and his staff for their tireless efforts, and wish them all the best in the future.

"Further announcements will be made, in due course."
