Following Tesla's (TSLA) annual shareholder meeting May 16, CEO Elon Musk sat down for an expansive, hour-long interview with CNBC. Mentioning that Twitter is looking to hire more people, Musk said that anyone who works for him is required to work in person.
He went on to say that working from home is not just an issue of productivity, it's an issue of morality. And working from home, according to Elon Musk, is absolutely amoral.

Kevin O'Leary -- the celebrity investor also known as Mr. Wonderful -- disagreed with Musk's stance, saying that working from home is not morally wrong.
"The world has changed. The economy's changed. The ethics of work have changed," he said. "We went through an extraordinary period during the pandemic. Working from home has proven to be an effective method of project management."
He acknowledged Musk's point on enhanced collaboration for businesses that rely on technological engineering, but said that "doesn't have anything to do with the other 10 sectors of the economy."
