Millwall Under-21s won the Professional Development League National Final to finish the season with a trophy under manager Kevin Nugent.
The Lions beat Sheffield United 2-1 after extra time at the Den to add to their Southern Division title.
Nugent hailed a huge result for his young side after goals from Romain Esse and Chin Okoli in the first half of extra-time sealed victory against Northern Division winners Sheffield United.
A crowd of 2,076 were at the Den, including first-team manager Gary Rowett and Zian Flemming.
The triumph completes a great season for Nugent and his Millwall Under-21s, who ran away with the Southern Division title and finished eight points clear at the top.
Nugent said: “The staff have worked really hard as well so it was good for everyone that the fans have come along and they were noisy and really lifted the team when they needed it.
“It’s fantastic, it’s really good. Obviously we won the Southern section to go into this, and it’s a really good standard.
“At the extra-time bit I just said to them, ‘listen, it feels like we’ve found a bit of a second wind here’, and they just kept on going.
“Like we said before, they kind of just get on with things, this lot, they’re really honest, they never stop giving it a go.”
