Kevin Hart challenged a former NFL player to a 40-yard dash and ended up in the hospital

Actor and comedian Kevin Hart learned a valuable lesson recently while challenging a former NFL player to a race.

Hart posted a video this week that showed him sitting in a wheelchair due to injuries sustained while racing former New England Patriots running back Stevan Ridley in a 40-yard dash.

In the video, Hart says that he suffered lower body injuries that have left him without the ability to walk until he heals up.

“Ladies and gentlemen, the age of 40 is real,” Hart joked in his video about how he landed with his injuries, which he shared came from Ridley and Hart trying to determine who was the faster person.

“We get out there; we go run the 40-yard dash,” Hart said. “Guys, I blew all my [expletive].”

You can hear Hart’s full, NSFW comments below about his 40-yard dash debacle.

Ridley responded to Hart’s video on the incident with a laugh and a message to get well soon.

“I saw @TomBrady do it at your age so I figured you had the juice too big bro,” Ridley shared on an Instagram story with a laughing emoji.

“My bad. Heal up and keep making us all laugh!”

We also hope Hart has a speedy recovery, and we hope this helps everyone understand that there’s a clear difference between what an NFL athlete and a normal person can do in something like the 40-yard dash.
