Hall of Fame Boston Celtics big man Kevin Garnett made a reputation for himself as one of the most brutal trash talkers the game had ever seen while he was in the NBA, even crossing the line of propriety a number of times in his efforts to crush the will to win of his opponents.
The Celtics champ might have been the most loyal teammate, but was also the most unforgiving opponent on the court on the other side of that coin, and made headlines more than once for especially egregious examples of his trash talk to such an end.
The folks over at the Playmaker Hoops YouTube channel recently put together a clip of the Big Ticket’s peers recounting some tales of Garnett’s trash talk, and how KG used it like a bladed weapon to further his interests on the court.
