Carmelo Anthony announced his retirement from the NBA, and he will go down as a no-brainer Basketball Hall of Fame candidate.
As the reactions poured in for the ten-time All-Star, perhaps no one had a funnier tribute than Phoenix Suns superstar Kevin Durant. The two forwards played together representing Team USA and won two gold medals during the Olympics in 2012 and 2016.
Durant posted a few Instagram stories celebrating Anthony, including one very silly photo of the two basketball players making funny faces while at the Olympics.
Durant, who has an incredible memory for specific plays, also recalled two instances in which Anthony fouled him:

The final photo from the story was of an Instagram comment that Anthony left on one of Durant’s photos many, many years ago.
All of these were genuinely hilarious posts sent from one of the greatest pure scorers of all time as a tribute to another legendary scoring forward.
