Kevin Durant epically trolled bettors after taking a backseat in Kyrie’s 50-point game

Kevin Durant is a walking bucket.

There aren’t many players a sports bettor would feel more comfortable dropping money on to score at least 20 points. KD can roll out of the bed and get you 20 in house slippers.

So, naturally, he’s a popular pick in parlays anytime the Brooklyn Nets play. And on a night they played the Charlotte Hornets — 29th in points allowed — his name was probably added to a few more parlays than normal.

Well, those parlays didn’t cash out.

Durant, who averages 29.1 points per game this season, finished with just 14 points on 6-of-13 shooting. It was his second-lowest total of the year and just the third time he’s been held under 20. He was also held to just three rebounds and one 3-pointer. Bettors weren’t happy about any of it.

The Nets still won, as Kyrie Irving went off for one of the most efficient 50-point games ever, so Durant was in a good mood.

In Durant fashion, he basked in the power his performances yield over the Twitter users he once felt slandered by.

It was actually all in good fun between the two. But other bettors and fantasy players weren’t as enthused with the outcome of their games.

The Nets play the 76ers and former teammate James Harden next. Durant won’t likely be held to 20 a second straight game.
