Kevin de Bruyne offers Man City comparison as Riyad Mahrez makes Leeds admission

Ilkay Gundogan controls Manchester City's tempo like David Silva did, according to Kevin De Bruyne.

De Bruyne signed for City in 2016, while Gundogan became Pep Guardiola's first signing at the club, so the pair have experienced all the highs of the Catalan's reign alongside each other in midfield. Now the two experienced members of the midfield - and the team's elected captain and vice-captain - De Bruyne has reflected on his relationship with his German teammate.

And he went as far as comparing Gundogan to a player both played alongside until 2020, who is regarded as a City legend for his contributions over a ten-year spell - David Silva.

Find out what De Bruyne had to say, here.

Mahrez knows that he and his teammates must build on that win and keep up the momentum if they are to haul Arsenal in and win the Premier League for a third successive season

Here's what Mahrez said.
