Kevin Clifton has shared his excitement after he and partner Stacey Dooley recently announced their baby joy.
Stacey is pregnant with her and Kevin's first child, after meeting on Strictly Come Dancing in 2018 and finding love together.
The happy news was announced on Stacey's Instagram page on Friday, as she shared the first snap of her blossoming bump and said she was 'delighted' with the news.
Speaking about their joy on Tuesday's The One Show, Kevin shared his feelings, joking he "needed to grow up" ahead of welcoming their first child.
Host Ronan Keating had said: "And Kevin, you are having a baby! Congratulations!"
A thrilled Kevin replied: "Yes, thank you very much! I am very excited. I am gonna have to grow up now!"
Host Alex Jones then added: "It is such lovely news, lovely." They then quizzed him about his upcoming stage role in Strictly Ballroom the Musical alongside Maisie Smith.
Stacey made the announcement just days ago, saying: "Gaaaaaaang.....We are having a baby!" the documentary-maker excitedly told fans. "So b***dy delighted," she went on.
Turning her attention to boyfriend Kevin, who she met on Strictly Come Dancing in 2018, Stacey gushed: "Kev, you're magic, I love youuuu."
The TV star then joked that being pregnant had become "impossible to hide" saying: "If one more person asks me if I've had my t**s done in LA I'm gonna scream."
Delighted dad-to-be Kevin shared the same photo with his social media fans and tweeted: "We're having a baby. Look how beautiful Stacey looks."
The pair were immediately swamped with congratulatory messages from a host of Strictly stars past and present.
Stacey and Kevin were first introduced when they were paired on the 2018 series of Strictly, which they went on to win.
Months after the show, Stacey announced she had split with her personal trainer boyfriend of five years with her romance with 'King Kev', as she affectionately calls the dancer, revealed shortly after in 2019.
The One Show airs weeknights at 7pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
