Bukayo Saka has been in scintillating form for Arsenal under Mikel Arteta's stewardship and has already surpassed his most productive season for the north Londoners.
With 10 games still remaining of the 2021/2022 Premier League campaign, the Hale End star is currently sitting on nine goals and five assists.
The increase in output has massively benefited the Gunners, especially when considering that star striker Alexandre Lacazette still only has two open play league goals to his name.

The performances delivered by Saka warrant a new contract, with talks reportedly underway already between the club and the player.
Ex- Arsenal striker Kevin Campbell is fully on board with the idea of Saka getting an improved deal, although he doesn't believe that he should earn similar money to Thomas Partey.
“Saka deserves a new deal but he doesn’t deserve to be up there with Thomas Partey. Look, he is a young, talented player but he is not on that level yet," Campbell said.
"I don’t know what he is earning now but he will get a big rise. It will be significant, I’m sure. Saka will not be one of the top earners at the club, though. He needs to do a bit more to earn that.
"He is doing so well that he has earned a new contract and if continues on this trajectory he will earn another new deal. That is the way it has to work. You don’t just make a young, gifted player the top earner. You only get that if you do crazy things."
Paul Merson shares similar thoughts with Campbell on Saka's situation, stating that the talented young right-winger deserves a £100,000 a week contract, which is a significant rise but falls way short of Partey's reported £200,000 a week deal.
“Give him a contract now. Give him 100 grand a week. He deserves it. He is top-drawer.” Merson said on Sky Sports News back in February.
