Kerry legend David Moran has announced his retirement from inter-county football after a glittering fifteen year career.
Moran made his Kerry debut back in and racked up two All-Stars and three All-Ireland winners medals with the most recent coming last year as the Kingdom won their 38th title.
He made his Kerry senior debut back in 2008 in a league game against Donegal and made his championship debut against Cork in the same season. Other than his All-Ireland medal hauls he won ten Munster titles, four Allianz League titles and two McGrath Cups.

In a statement Kerry GAA saluted Moran by saying: "Congratulations to David on such a fantastic legacy in Kerry, for your hard work, dedication and for being such an amazing role model to all aspiring players in your own club Kerins O’ Rahilly’s and across the county."
"We wish David, Sinead, Eli and all of his family all the very best in the future."
The Kerins O’ Rahillys man won his first Munster Club title at the end of 2022 and was part of the team narrowly beaten in this year’s All-Ireland semi-final by eventual winners Kilmacud Crokes.
