Former Atomic Kitten star Kerry Katona has announced she is quitting the UK and moving abroad as BirminghamLive reports. The 41-year-old will be moving her and her family out of the UK as she wants to "wake up to some sunshine every single day."
Kerry said that the family are in the process of "looking into" moving abroad and she predicts they will only be in the UK for another year. She said: “My mum will have a base here so whenever I come back that will be where we stay. I went to London for a work meeting last week and it’s a whole day of travelling. You can hop on a plane and be in Marbella in less time. So, that’s our plan. It’s exciting.”
She explained that the move would still be a "working life" and does not want her children to take it for granted. She said: “I want to wake up to some sunshine every single day. It would be a nice life, but I also want to make sure it will be a working life. The children need to realise that they may live there, but they still need to get their homework done and work hard.”

Kerry also spoke about how now that so much of her work was online after the star recovered from bankruptcy and now earns a lot of money posting on the adult-only site OnlyFans. She said: "We will start looking at schools soon to get an idea of what we’re getting into. So much of my work is online now, so it does make sense to think about a new start.”
The news of a move abroad comes after Kerry's mum moved in with the family after having a scary heart attack last month.
