Kerry Katona says her kids make her problems disappear amid her mental health struggles

Kerry Katona has been finding the coronavirus lockdown hard on her mental health.

And after the former Atomic Kitten star, 39, bravely admitted that she is struggling as her family self-distance in line with government instructions she took to Instagram on Wednesday to credit her kids for making her problems disappear during the uncertain time.

The Whole Again hitmaker is currently in quarantine with her boyfriend Ryan, 31, as well as kids Molly Marie, 18, Lily-Sue, 17, Heidi, 13, Maxwell, 12 and Dylan-Jorge, six.

Proving how much she values her little ones, on Tuesday evening the star posted a number of sweet snaps of herself in bed with her two youngest Max and Dylan.

The mum-of-five looked at peace as she snuggled with her brood and told her Instagram fans that the snaps 'made her want to cry'.

The former I'm A Celeb star typed: "Omg after having such a unnecessarily s**t emotionally mentally c****y day I look at a picture like this and all the problems and bills disappear omg not gonna lie... these pics make me wanna cry!!!!...With pure joy light and happiness!"

Kerry continued: "I get we all have bloody sh***y days but just look at that! Those pics of my beautiful babies 2 of my 5 the other 3 are just as bloody gorgeous!!That right there is prue unconditional love! The end."

Kerry looked fresh-faced in the images that showed her make-up free with her bubblegum pink locks slicked off her face.

Max - who has also dyed his hair the same candy like tone as his mum - pulled a number of angelic poses as his sister Dylan nestled in the middle.

It comes as the Loose Women guest panelist wrote about having a panic attack because of the coronavirus pandemic.

"I suffer from panic attacks – I had one out of the blue watching TV recently,’ Kerry wrote in her latest New! magazine column.

She added: "They’re scary and unexpected and the more discussion there is around them, the better."

Kerry is bipolar, and explained in her article that she had found some relief during the ongoing global pandemic by being outdoors and in contact with nature.

"Last week I went outside for a proper walk for the first time since lockdown began.

"We went to the forest and climbed trees, took in the air and, I tell you what, it made all the difference to my mindset.

"I felt lighter than I had in a long time – there was a point where I was starting to struggle a bit with my mental health."
