Kerry Katona has shared her heartfelt condolences to Lauren Goodger following the tragic death of her newborn baby daughter.
The former TOWIE star recently announced that she and her boyfriend Charles Drury had lost their second daughter, Lorena, shortly after welcoming her into the world.
At the time, Lauren, 35, shared the emotional news alongside a black and white photo of her tiny baby's hand.
After opening up on social media, close friends, co-stars and fans sent her endless messages of support.
Reflecting on the tragedy in her latest new! column, Kerry, 41, has also reached out - admitting she "can't even imagine" the pain the pair are going through.
The star wrote: "My heart goes out to Lauren Goodger and her partner Charles Drury, who shared the tragic news that their newborn daughter Lorena has died.
"It’s just devastating. I can’t even begin to imagine the heartbreak they are going through. My heart is breaking for Lauren."
Kerry added: "I’m sending them so much love and strength."
Lauren and Charles, who are parents to one-year-old daughter Larose, announced they were expecting their second child in January this year.
However tragedy struck when their baby girl died shortly after Lauren gave birth.
In a statement, Lauren said: "Lorena R.I.P 08.07.22 she was the most beautiful healthy baby I’ve ever seen just like her sister @babylarose.x
"… words can’t describe as a mother losing your baby that I carried for all these months perfectly and gave birth too for my angel to be taken from me".
Lauren explained: "There was no pregnancy or labour complications and she was fine & healthy but I am not going into detail right now just know that there was nothing wrong with her or myself she was perfect I can’t understand it she is so so beautiful Larose twin so similar.. I am broken".
She added: "I am back home from hospital Me & Charlie spent as much time with our baby girl Lorena and I haven’t said my goodbye yet".
Following the emotional post, Charles also shared a touching tribute of his own.
He wrote: "My head hurts, my heart is broken, I'm lost, but my daughter give me the strength to keep going. I'll never get over what's happened but with the right people & energy I'll learn to life with the pain.
"Thank you to every single person who's messaged, commented, said a prayer or event had us in your thoughts I see & appreciate you all."
The couple have since admitted to feeling "overwhelmed" by the love and support.
"Lauren and Charles would like to thank everyone for their amazing support at this hard time," a spokesperson told OK! Magazine.
"The messages have been so lovely and even though it takes no pain away it really has helped to see how much support there is for them. They are completely overwhelmed and touched by the response."
