Kerry Katona has 'snubbed the 'All Stars' series of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here'.
She won the hearts of the nation when 14 million people tuned into watch her be crowned 'Queen of the Jungle' in 2004.
In an interview with The Daily Star last year, when rumours were rife of an 'All Stars' season, Kerry said that she would "definitely go back".
"I thought, 20 year anniversary, they might do an all stars with the king and queens," she added, before saying that she didn't want to "lose my crown".
But now a source close to the former face of Iceland says she has "made the difficult decision to pass on it" despite being so keen to "go back".
The former Atomic Kitten star was crowned winner of the third series of the hit-ITV show and was actually the programme's first 'Queen of the Jungle'.
A meeting between the mum-of-five did reportedly happen, but the 42-year-old has seemingly snubbed the offer after she "couldn't make it work".
"Kerry met with ITV bosses to discuss the opportunity but made the difficult decision to pass on it," an insider told The Sun.
They added: "She is so grateful for her time in the jungle and loves the show, but couldn't make it work as she had already committed to another TV show."
Another source told the outlet: "Kerry did have meetings to take part in I'm A Celebrity All Stars but due to other filming commitments, she was unable to take part.
"Not being able to take part in the show will come as a blow for Kerry, as she said last year that she would love to do an all-stars version of the smash hit series."
Speaking of the new series, set to run alongside the regular season of I'm A Celeb in 2023, an insider told The Mirror that the spin-off 'will be very much the same old series'.
They hinted that 'campmates are still expected to take part in trials and live in camp' but the new series 'will also be very different'.
It seems campmates must decide the fates of those taking part, as well as who does the challenges - in a twist similarly used in the Australian version of the series earlier this year.
A source previously told The Mirror: "It’s still really early days but I’m A Celebrity bosses are keen to bring back the most-talked about stars."
