Kerry Katona has concerned her fans after she shared snap from a hospital bed, following her eating disorder confession.
The 41-year-old posted the worrying snap from the ward on her Instagram Stories, showing her arm hooked up to a catheter, usually used to administer medicines and fluids to patients.
In the early hours of Saturday morning, Kerry posted the photo and wrote: “Not really where I wanna be,” alongside three sad face emojis.
She didn’t give her fans and followers any indication as to why she had been hospitalised.
In her latest column for new! magazine, Kerry revealed she had been in tears over her relationship with food, and believed she had some kind of eating disorder.
The mum-of-five said she’d eaten a kebab in secret, and then felt like she wanted to vomit afterwards.
“I've been in tears over my relationship with food. I have real issues,” she wrote.
“For example, the other day I bought a kebab and I hid on my own and binged on it. I'll eat food, and then I'll feel like I want to be sick. I definitely have some kind of eating disorder,” Kerry continued.
She said she “hates” the way she looks, and doesn’t want her fiancé Ryan Mahoney to see her, as she’s feeling “so insecure”.
“I'm not sure why I feel like this. I don't know if it's because of my age, or if it's because Ryan's younger than me, or if it's because I'm in the media,” she sadly wrote.
Kerry said she’s keen to “get back in touch with therapists” to see if they can help her, because she “needs to do something about it”.
Her worrying post comes just one day after she revealed the results of her breast reduction procedure, going from an E cup to a C cup.
She was left unhappy following her first op in 2021, as she complained she still felt her boobs were “too big”.
The former Atomic Kitten singer was jokingly welcomed into the “itty bitty t*ty committee” by her 19-year-old daughter Lilly.
