On the other side, Igor Milicic led the scoring for the Volunteers with 19 points and nine rebounds, followed by Chaz Lanier with 15 points and Zakai Zeigler with 13 points.

Despite facing challenges due to injuries to key players Lamont Butler and Kerr Kriisa, Kentucky showed resilience by limiting their turnovers to just five in the second half after committing eight in the first half.

Tennessee managed to take a 33-30 lead at halftime after scoring the last 11 points of the first half. However, Kentucky's strong shooting in the second half, where they shot an impressive 75% from the field in the first eight minutes, helped them build a significant lead.

Looking ahead, Kentucky will host Arkansas in their next game, while Tennessee is set to face off against No. 5 Florida in what promises to be another exciting matchup.

Throughout the season, Kentucky has been working on stabilizing their turnover issues, especially in the face of recent injuries. Meanwhile, Tennessee has relied on their strong defense to stay competitive, even during shooting slumps.

One key moment in the game came when Tennessee, trailing 76-73 with 10 seconds left, missed a crucial 3-pointer that could have tied the game, ultimately sealing the victory for Kentucky.

Both teams have shown resilience and determination, making their upcoming games ones to watch for college basketball fans.
