Kentucky QB Will Levis hits ceiling with deep ball during pro day

With the traveling braintrust of the Carolina Panthers on hand, Will Levis was probably looking to blow the roof off the place during his throwing session on Friday. But, uh, he might’ve tried to do it literally.

On one of his deep balls from the pro day performance, the University of Kentucky quarterback actually hit the ceiling of the Joe Craft Football Training Facility in Lexington. Here’s the chuck, courtesy of Destin Adams:

Levis, obviously, has no shortage of arm strength. Amongst his most appealing traits is the cannon that’s attached to his right shoulder, as clearly exhibited above.

The 6-foot-4, 230-pound passer is also a gifted athlete—one who can pierce defenses with his legs as well as with that arm. But, as also shown during his pro day, Levis does pose concerns with his accuracy and rhythm.

While it’s unlikely the Panthers use the No. 1 overall pick on Levis—with Bryce Young, C.J. Stroud and Anthony Richardson presumably ahead of him—at least he gave them quite a show after their dinner.
