Kent could end post-Rangers nightmare as Fenerbahce transfer exit 'offer on table'

Ryan Kent could finally be set to end his post-Rangers nightmare at Fenerbache.

Reports in Turkiye claim Kent is wanted for a return to England to end his challenging spell in the Super Lig.

The former Ibrox winger is said to be a transfer target for English Championship side Leeds.

Fenerbahce manager Jose Mourinho has already made clear the fact that Kent is not part of his plans at the Turkish club.

But Kent could be bailed out of another troublesome season as a bit-part player at Fenerbahce with Leeds having made a transfer offer for his services.

Habar Ekspres state a €3m offer has been made to Fenerbahce by Leeds with the Championship club hopeful of building a squad to fire them back into the Premier League.

It's claimed Leeds have held talks with Kent over a move with efforts being made to "conclude transfer talks in a short time".

Kent- who is under contract at Fenerbahce for another two years - played just 18 times last season for a total of 736 minutes.

He had joined the club as a free transfer following his exit from Ibrox at the expiry of his contract.

Kent made a decent start to his time in Turkiye but then fell out of favour and was not eligible for the club in the second half of the league season.

However, he did start in Fenerbahce's Champions League second qualifying round first-leg match against Lugano earlier this month.

The winger played 68 minutes in the first leg away in Switzerland before being on the bench in the return fixture with Fenerbahce progressing 6-4 on aggregate.
