Kenny Miller has expressed his sympathy with Rangers striker Kemar Roofe after the star's latest injury knock.
The Light Blues hero heard first-hand from the Jamaican international on a chance aeroplane meeting how happy he was to put his fitness woes behind him. Roofe hadn't kicked a ball in anger this season prior to appearing against Dundee last week but manager Giovanni van Bronckhorst has confirmed he will missing for another few weeks ahead of today's Premiership clash with Aberdeen.
Fitness issues have plagued Roofe ever since he arrived from Anderlecht in 2020 but when those are not apparent, he has found the net for Rangers, scoring 34 times from 74 games. Miller says the forward had real desire to make an impact upon his return but is now just something else for supporters to get annoyed about amid poor performances of late leading to growing pressure on van Bronckhorst and the players.

He told Superscoreboard: "It's a player that when he has been fit and available, has done not too bad a job. His goalscoring record is excellent.
"I actually bumped into him on a plane going down to one of the Champions League games, while he was going down to get the all-clear to get back to training.
"He was so happy to be back and buzzing to be involved. He couldn't wait to get back on the field. Real sympathy to him.
"I think he has something to offer when he is fit and firing. His goalscoring record is there for all to see so it is just another thing Rangers fans can vent their frustration at."
