The Seahawks had trouble reaching Michigan State running back Ken Walker by phone when they were on the clock in the second round of the 2022 NFL draft. While they didn’t actually need to get ahold of him to make the pick, it’s customary for teams to reach out and let players know they’re getting selected in advance.
General manager John Schneider and the rest of Seattle’s front office had issues reaching him, though – all of their calls went straight to voicemail as they were on the clock. Ken Walker has now shared his side of the story. Here’s what happened.
💀😂 I can only imagine the anxiety that would have come up for @Kenneth_Walker9 when he saw 4 missed calls during round two do the NFL draft…glad the #Seahawks got a hold of him…eventually. 😂 pic.twitter.com/Y9rchiycYw
