Rangers striker Kemar Roofe has shared his delight after netting the winner to sink Braga and reach the semi finals of the Europa League.
And he saluted Ibrox supporters for their unwavering support from first whistle to last as skipper James Tavernier netted twice before Roofe found the net himself.
The Jamaica international missed a golden chance in the first half before seeing two goals ruled out on a night of high drama at Ibrox.
But the man stepping up in the absence of Alfredo Morelos was over the moon to make the difference after David Carmo forced the game into extra time.
Speaking on BT Sport, the Rangers striker said: “It means so much to everybody here, we’ve worked hard and had our ups and downs but it’s been a special night tonight.
“I had two disallowed, one off the crossbar but I had to stay focused and keep pushing.
“As the fans say, no surrender. And that’s what it was tonight.
“I thought it was going to be one of those nights for me but as long as I kept working hard and we win the game, that’s all that would have mattered but thankfully I managed to get a goal.
“I don’t think it has (sunk in) and I don’t think it will because of how big this club is.
“The fans demand it, the club demands it so we had to produce it. It will probably sink in at the end of the season.
“It went into extra time and we couldn’t give up. Even when they went down to 10, nine men it got harder and we had to grind it out.
“That’s the beauty of it, Ibrox, we get the fans going and we feed off them.
“It was a massive start and that decided the game.
“I just keep going, take it game by game and do my best. We’re going to keep trying, win the game and we go to the final.”
