Kemar Roofe named on BENCH for Rangers in Europa League final against Frankfurt in Seville

Kemar Roofe has been named on the bench for Rangers against Frankfurt.

The Light Blues hitman was declared fit by Giovanni van Bronckhorst in his pre-match press conference after a spell on the sidelines.

The 29-year-old has been working hard behind the scenes to get involved in this Europa League final showdown.

But he will need to hope he makes an impact from the bench after being named among the Rangers subs.

Aaron Ramsey has also missed out on a spot in the XI.

The Wales international has struggled with a number of niggles since his blockbuster January loan transfer from Juventus.

But after starting two of Rangers' last three league outings, he has had to settle for a seat on the bench.

Allan McGregor is the man between the sticks.

Skipper James Tavernier is joined in the backline by ever-present Connor Goldson, Calvin Bassey and Borna Barisic.

It's Ryan Jack, Glen Kamara and John Lundstram across the middle three with the latter likely to drop back in to help the defence.

Ryan Kent, Joe Aribo and Scott Wright make up the forward positions as Van Bronckhorst opts to go without a recognised number nine.

Rangers XI: McGregor, Tavernier, Bassey, Lundstram, Goldson, Jack, Kent, Aribo, Kamara, Wright, Barisic.

Subs: McCrorie, McLaughlin, Diallo, Davis, Ramsey, Sands, Roofe, Balogun, Sakala, Arfield, King, Lowry.
