Ex-Emmerdale star Kelvin Fletcher has hinted at a 'sinister' side to his new Channel 5 The Teacher character in an appearance on ITV This Morning.
The actor swapped a his career in Emmerdale to show off his moves on Strictly Come Dancing.
But now he has played his hand at a new role in Channel 5 crime drama The Teacher, alongside Sheridan Smith.

The series started on Monday January 31 and is back on again at 9pm tonight.
Kelvin Fletcher, who plays Jack in the crime drama, said there is a lust and energy between his character and Jenna, who is played by Sheridan, that they scratch the surface of.
But the question being asked by fans is has Jack got a sinister side?
Kelvin Fletcher said: "My character will be unravelled this week.
"The beauty with all the characters is we see snippets of all their lives, on face value they all seem quite sincere and a real friend to Sheridan's character, but then they show episodes of oh actually can we trust this person."
The TV star claimed this adventure was a huge opportunity to work with Sheridan Smith and the rest of the team.
Kelvin also said on the This Morning that playing the role of a teacher brings back memories of his desire to be a teacher - He said: "Teachers have such a significant role at such a vulnerable stage of our lives, I was acting and becoming a young man at school and teachers are ingredient in building your life.
"I don't know if I could be a good teacher, maybe I would be a support teacher and be everyone's friend."
Three weeks after moving house Kelvin announced to his family that he would be off to Budapest to film The Teacher and moving to the world of drama.
Kelvin said: "It has been a really great job, I'm not too sure why it was filmed in Budapest, maybe a budget thing, although it looks like Bradford.
Since leaving his Emmerdale farm, Kelvin and his family have took on a huge challenge of moving and running their own farm, which is also being filmed as part of a BBC documentary, Kelvin's Big Farming Adventure.

Kelvin added: "I'm not too sure why, we just wanted a change, the sense of unknown has always excited me so we just wanted to seek a challenge.
"It was such a simple, wholesome way of living and then the next thing we knew we have a BBC film crew filming our every move.
"We didn't know what we were doing, but we learnt fast and want to be recognised as proper farmers."
The TV star is also expecting to be a dad again, to twins and he also said they are expecting 50/60 lambs around the same time.
He laughed: "Again we're stepping into the unknown."
