Kelvin Fletcher has been burning up the dance floor with his effortless moves on Strictly, but it's his stunning physique that has also had us talking recently.
The 35-year-old from Manchester hasn’t always looked so toned and buff, as those who have followed his career on Emmerdale will remember.
The actor was distinctively less muscular and looked a world away from how he is today.
After quitting the role of Emmerdale’s Andy Sugden after 20 years, Kelvin briefly retreated from the public eye before he remerged a new man.
After admitting he had developed a ‘dad bod’, the actor got himself back into the gym in November 2017, undergoing an intensive training programme with personal trainer David Green.
In June 2018, he stepped up his efforts and embarked on a 12-week plan to "get in the best shape he's ever been in”.
Just five months later, he took to social media to reveal his new muscular look, achieved by switching up his diet and stepping up his training.
Kelvin took to Instagram to share a photo of himself topless in a gym, sending his fans wild.
The image showed a rippling six-pack and defined muscular arms, and was a far cry from the skinny teen he used to be.
He cheekily captioned the post “@Marvel I’m ready when you are”, in reference to the dad-of-two's dream to star in one of the comic book franchise's films.
Fans immediately flooded his page with praise, with one describing his impressive new look as “savage”.
Another fan commented "dude Superman is the role for you".
He has since regularly showcased his new honed body on Instagram, with more than a handful of snaps showing off his six pack and bulging biceps.
Kelvin wowed fans with his buff body while taking part in ITV's The All New Monty 2019: Who Bares Wins earlier this year.
The star was required to have a spray tan for the show, which only further enhanced his defined muscles.
And with his Strictly training now underway, Kelvin’s dad-bod has no chance of returning anytime soon.
