Kelly Rizzo recently addressed critics who questioned the timing of her new relationship following the passing of her late husband, Bob Saget. In a TikTok video, Rizzo expressed that outsiders have no right to comment on her personal life and the complexities of navigating grief and moving forward. She emphasized that the majority of feedback she has received since Saget's death has been positive, but acknowledged the presence of negative commentary.
Rizzo shared that she experienced feelings of guilt after Saget's death in January 2022 and did not consider dating until well over a year had passed. She clarified that she only began dating around 18 months after Saget's passing. Rizzo and actor Breckin Meyer went public with their relationship in early February, attending events together and receiving the blessing of Saget's daughters.
Despite the support from Saget's family and friends, Rizzo admitted feeling conflicted about her new relationship and stressed the importance of finding personal peace and acceptance. Saget, who was previously married to screenwriter Sherri Kramer, tied the knot with Rizzo in 2018 after meeting her in 2015.
