Kelly Brook has complained she has been left in agonising pain after undergoing a chemical peel that left her face burnt and shedding her skin ‘like a snake’.
The 42-year-old model has proved that the pursuit of beauty can be an agonising process after she was left looking like she’d been crying as cooling creams she applied to try and counteract her pain caused her mascara to run.
Kelly hosts an evening radio show alongside fellow DJ Jason ‘JK’ King on Heart FM and felt she had to confess the reason for her distraught looking appearance.
Taking to the airwaves on Monday night, Kelly told her 47-year-old Heart Drive co-star that she had been left suffering by her latest beauty treatment – as well as being left a mess.
She said: “Have you ever looked in the mirror and you’ve got like something hanging out of your nose or there’s something on your face, and no colleague has told you about it and you’re like ‘how long have I walked around like that for today?’
“Well I literally had mascara all down my face, like it had looked like I had been crying for like days.
“And this is because I’ve had to put so much cream on my face. Because I’ve burnt my face. I’ve burnt it all over, I’m in so much pain. I’ve done a chemical peel haven’t I…again.”
She wailed: “I never learn, I never learn… I’m shedding like a snake.”
Co-star JK explained: “I just thought it was part of your regime. I thought it was part of your regime.”
But this prompted Kelly to despair: “What having mascara all down my face? No…it’s because all my makeup is smudged, because I’ve got so much cream on to try and take down the swelling.”
JK then confessed: “If I had said to you that you’ve got mascara on your eyes and you’d said ‘no, that’s my puffy peel’, then I can’t win!”
Kelly then admitted: “Ugrh why do I do it? It’s something that’s supposed to make you look good.”
At least Kelly can rely on her boyfriend Jeremy Parisi to always love her no matter how she looked.
The Italian model and actor recently showered Kelly with praise as he celebrated her on International Women’s Day.
In a message that he sent to Kelly, which she later shared with fans online, the 36-year-old wrote: “You inspire me everyday with your Kindness And Generosity.
“Your Love for Teddy and I warms my Heart. Today like everyday I celebrate you and all the Incredible Women.”
He added: “I love you with all my heart.”
