Kellie Harrington is one fight away from a medal at the European Boxing Championships in Montenegro.
The Dubliner faces England's Shona Whitwell on Wednesday in a lightweight quarter-final bout.
Harrington defeated Turkey’s Ozer Gizem via a majority 4-1 decision on Saturday and will fight in the afternoon session on Wednesday, which starts at 1pm Irish time. Harrington will fight in the 12th bout, with Caitlin Fryers first of the Irish up in the second contest. Both of those fights can be viewed live on the video at the top of this article.
The Olympic champion is aiming to add to the six medals she previously won at the 2019 European Games, 2018 European Championships, 2017 European Union Championships, 2016 and 2018 World Championships and that gold in Tokyo.
Kaci Rock and Aoife O’Rourke will both fight in the evening session on Wednesday. The evening session can be viewed on the video below from 4.30pm.
