Kell Brook's trainer has claimed that he feels Amir Khan could pull out of the pair's fierce grudge match on the horizon of the fight in Manchester.
The two veterans will go toe-to-toe in front of a packed house at the Manchester Arena on February 19th, following a rivalry that has spanned over a decade.
With less than two weeks until the pair take to the ring, excitement is rising - but Brook's trainer Dominic Ingle believes Khan could still pull out.
That is down to the fact that he feels Khan has not been settled in his training camp and he's been hearing suggestions that excuses are already being made.
"Pride is on the line, Khan has ribbed him for so long and tormented him. You can do all that taunting but come that night, there's going to be nowhere to run and hide, there's the corners of the ring and that's the worst place to be," he told iFL TV.
"I don't watch a lot of stuff on social media about Khan but people have been saying he's done a few interviews and he's saying about this injury, that injury, kind of putting it out there already.
"I don't think it's past him to either pull out with injury or he's got Covid, the closer the fighter gets to the fight day, why is it they always pull out a week before with covid? It's the realisation that they're not where they need to be and haven't done the work.
"You look at Khan, he's been in Nebraska, he's been in Denver, he's all over the place, you need to be settled in training camps."
Brook has been based at his training camp in Fuertaventura for his preparation for the fight, training under the hot sun and intense heat.
Khan's preparations has been the polar opposite, with colder climate in North America and plenty of travel.
