The Women’s Golf Coaches Association has released the first spring 2022 Mizuno WGCA Coaches Poll and Keiser University is the top-ranked team in women’s golf in NAIA.
Keiser received four first-place votes to take the top spot. Oklahoma City checks in at No. 2 and also received four first-place votes. Oklahoma City was the top-ranked team in the final poll of the fall 2021 campaign.
Dalton State College is No. 3, SCAD Savannah is No. 4 and William Carey is No. 5.
Keiser recently won the Kinderlou Forest Spring Invite at Kinderlou Forest Golf Club in Valdosta, Georgia, by a 18 shots. All five Keiser golfers finished in the top-10. The Seahawks were led by Michela Tjan, who finished solo fourth at 10 over. Her week included a 68 in the second round.
