Former Nottingham Forest loanee Keinan Davis has taken to social media to send a message to the club as his future is resolved.
The striker spent the second half of last season on loan from Aston Villa, playing a big part in the side’s promotion to the Premier League through the play-offs. The Reds were said to have been quoted a fee of around £15 million in order to make the move permanent this summer, but the forward will now not be returning to the City Ground.
The 24-year-old has joined Championship side Watford on loan. The move does still have an impact on Forest though, with the Reds closing in on a deal for Watford striker Emmanuel Dennis.

Ahead of the confirmation of his transfer, the striker posted a message to Forest on his Instagram stories.
“Thanks to Nottingham Forest and everyone involved at the club for giving me the platform to showcase myself,” he wrote.
“Appreciated all your support. Thank you for everything.”
In his short time at the club, Davis made 22 appearances, scoring five goals and providing three assists. The striker played 66 minutes of the play-off final over Huddersfield, a game in which Forest came out as 1-0 winners.
