Keep out! 10 homes for sale on London's private and no-through roads to escape the traffic

If a gated community feels a little too exclusive, could a cul-de-sac be the answer?

Clogged London streets remain a hot issue, thanks in part to the debate around Low Traffic Neighbourhoods, or LTNs, which aim to redirect traffic away from residential neighbourhoods.

But private and no-through roads have long-provided respite from horns and fumes, diverting a daily cavalcade of cars who think they might have found a shortcut to the primary school.

We’ve found ten of the best homes away from the traffic.
