North East tea specialist Ringtons has paired up with Jesmond florist The Flower Folk to come up with a great gift if you prefer to shop local for Mother's Day.
For the first time in its 115-year history, the Newcastle company has designed hampers especially for Mother's Day - perfect for mams who are fans of the iconic local brand, which has been keeping Newcastle and the surrounding areas supplied with tea and other goodies since 1907.
And as well as tea, coffee and sweet treats, the hampers include a bunch of 'forever' dried flowers supplied by The Flower Folk, of Brentwood Avenue, Jesmond.

There are three hampers on offer, ranging from £12.95 up to £39.95, with delivery an extra £3.95 if your order is less than £25. If you're looking for something smaller, Ringtons also has a selection of other gifts ideal for Mother’s Day.

The Ringtons tea story dates back to 1907 when founder Samuel Smith OBE began selling tea from a horse and cart in Newcastle. Now in its fifth generation, the Byker site is one of the largest tea and coffee manufacturing facilities in the UK.
