Keanu Reeves says the only celeb autograph he asked for wrote 'f**k you' in response

During a recent appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, The Matrix actor was asked a series of questions as part of the host’s game, The Colbert Questioner.
The mini quiz featured a mix of 15 questions intended to let the audience get to know the guest on a deeper level, as opposed to your average interview questions.
During this segment, Reeves revealed quite a lot about himself such as whether he prefers apples or oranges (spoiler alert: its apples) and what his favorite sandwich is (a toasted sandwich with crunchy peanut butter and honey).
When asked whether he had ever asked for an autograph from one of his fellow celebs, he responded, “Yes.”
“May I ask whom?’” Colbert interjected, to which Reeves said: “Lou Reed, but it wasn’t for me, it was for a friend, and he was cool about it.”
“It was a little piece of paper with blue ink. Yeah, it was good. It just said Lou Reed,” Reeves said.
While this signature was for his friend, shortly after responding he remembered that he had also asked comedian George Carlin for an autograph—this time for himself.
“It was really funny because he wrote I think ‘Dear Keanu, f*** you,'” Reeves laughed.
“I always thought he just wrote that for me and then I met someone else who said that he wrote the same thing to them,” he added.
Of course, Reeves is widely regarded as one of the nicest celebs, so he took no offense to it.
The 57-year-old actor concluded, “Anyway, it was beautiful.”
Reeves also has an equally (if not more) beautiful story that a fan shared about the time the John Wick star gave him an autograph.
