Saints star Keanu Baccus' prospective move to Bolton Wanderers has fallen through.
The Australia international looked set to join the English League One side after the two clubs originally agreed a fee.
But Renfrewshire Live Sport understands the switch has now fallen through, with the 25-year-old set to remain with the Buddies.
An unnamed English Championship club have also been linked with a move for the former Western Sydney Wanderers midfielder, who is currently in Belfast with the Buddies for their pre-season training tour.
St Mirren face Glentoran tomorrow night in their first friendly of the trip, before taking on Linfield on Saturday.
