Kaye Adams revealed that she has sustained a rib injury just days before second Strictly Come Dancing show.
On Thursday, the Loose Women presenter took to her Instagram stories with her co-star Nadia Sawalha and posted a video in which she showed her taped up torso.
"Do you want to see my wound?" she asked Sawalha before lifting her top up to show the tape on her side.
"Just taping up my ribs. It's not a plaster, it's because there's a big bruise on my ribs. I've been too energetic getting thrown around."
Adams, 59, explained that she had been practicing some lifts with her professional dance partner Kai Widdrington, 27, when the incident occurred and joked that he was to blame.
The clip follows the TV host having shared her concerns about doing "sexy" dances as she arrived at Strictly rehearsals.
She told Radio Times: "I don't feel comfortable with the sexy, seductive stuff. The thought of doing the rumba gives me the ick."
Widdrington revealed that the pair had come up with an alter ego for Adams called Fifi LaTouche to help her combat the self-consciousness when she's doing the more "flamboyant" dances.
"Kaye's going to be a beautiful ballroom dancer as well. She'll surprise you," he added.
In the first Strictly live show last weekend, the duo performed a Tango to Voulez-Vouz by ABBA that saw Adams making a string of mistakes, which garnered mixed response from the judges.
Head judge Shirley Ballas said: "the nerves got the better of you," while Anton Du Beke also pointed out the errors.
It was Craig Revel Horwood, however, who unexpectedly took it the easiest on her, saying that he "really really liked" her performance after initially expecting it to be disaster.
Following the show Adams admitted on Instagram that she had "kicked herself" for making the missteps.
