Katy Perry almost landed flat on her face as she made her way from the King's Coronation this afternoon.
The American songstress, 38, is set to dazzle crowds at tomorrow's Coronation concert, but was part of today's special occasion first.
However, things almost took an awkward turn as the Firework singer left Westminster Abbey following the ceremony of King Charles III and Queen Camilla in London.
Katy was spotted almost taking a topple as she walked the wet London streets.
Thankfully she stopped herself from hitting the ground and brushed off the potential mishap with a beaming smile.
Katy looked stunning in a flamboyant lilac outfit - although some users criticised the size of her hat.
She opted for the glamorous attire which had a short-sleeved suit jacket with a purple fabric corsage attached to the lapel.
It's thought that the colour choice could have been a nod to a skirt suit previously worn by Princess Diana.
The Kissed A Girl star finished off the look with a pair of matching opera gloves and a pearl Vivienne Westwood logo choker.
Earlier in the day she had left fans in stitches as she seemingly struggled to find her seat for the ceremony.
As she walked into the historic ceremony as one of the 2,000 prestigious guests, Katy was spotted seeking help from British Vogue editor Edward Enninful before scanning the room for her seat.
She then walked over to a section of seated guests and pointed to a row, seemingly asking whether that was her spot.
Her apparent confusion struck a chord with those watching from the comfort of their own homes.
One user wrote on Twitter : "It's giving John Travolta meme energy," while another jibed: "Legend has it she’s still looking for that seat."
Katy is set to take part in the concert extravaganza on Sunday, which also features her fellow American Idol judge Lionel Richie.
Other performers include Take That as approximately 20,000 people gather for the one-off musical experience.
Katy, who is an ambassador for the British Asian Trust's Children Protection Fund for India - an organisation founded by the then-Prince Charles - couldn't hold back her excitement after her invite.
She said at the time her fans would be getting "what they deserve very soon", and claimed her Coronation experience was "very regal" and something that aligned with "all her values."
