Katy Perry has broken her silence after struggling to find her seat in Westminster Abbey for King Charles's Coronation.
Charles and Camilla were crowned in front of 2,000 guests at today's historic ceremony, including the American singer-songwriter.
She is set to perform at Sunday's Coronation concert alongside Lionel Richie, Freya Ridings, Andrea Bocelli and Tiwa Savage. But after entering the Abbey, Katy went viral on social media as she wandered around in search for her seat, asking other guests for their help to locate it.
Making light of the situation, she posted: "Don't worry guys I found my seat." Her post racked up around 2,000 retweets in just 15 minutes, as her loyal fans commented on the "iconic" moment.
One user said: "Finally, we were worried!"
Another user added: "Me trying to find my mum at a full supermarket."
A third said: "It should’ve been the throne but I don't know what happened."
One more user added: "Me asking if the seat is already taken at a coffee shop."
But this wasn't Katy's only viral moment as she made fans giggle when tripping up outside the Abbey.
Thankfully, the superstar quickly regained her balance and went on to enjoy the momentous occasion.
One user asked: "Real question is did you twist your ankle?"
Katy has spent hours preparing for her royal debut and told Extra TV that she was "excited" for her "wild" sleepover at the castle.
She told Extra TV: "I'm really excited… I might be posting a lot because I'm gonna be in a castle, for real. This is wild."
The superstar has promised to give fans "what they deserve very soon", and says her Coronation experience has been "very regal" and that the request aligned with "all her values."
She added: ""It was very regal, I loved it. I'm an ambassador to one of his foundations for the British Asian Trust, which primarily focuses on ending child trafficking, which is a huge issue of our time that people don't talk enough about, and it just aligned with all my values… He asked me to sing and it all aligned."
