Katy Perry not only won hearts with her antics at the coronation of King Charles III at Westminster Abbey, she went on to wow the crowds at the Coronation Concert. The American pop superstar looked regal in a gleaming gold princess dress as she took to the stage for the musical celebration.
Some fans joked that she had 'dressed as a Quality Street' for the occasion in her Toffee Penny look-alike gown. And she stole the show for the young royals as nine-year-old Prince George and his sister Princess Charlotte, eight, were both seen singing along with Katy as she belted out one of her biggest hits Roar as they sat beside their proud mum Kate Middleton, the Princess of Wales.
As she followed Roar with another of her massive hits Firework, @jonnymuzzer praised: "Katy Perry has been by far the best performer tonight!" But other fans jokingly pointed out that for them there was one song missing.

@graylingn16 joked: "Katy Perry…Great. Is she doing JustEat. I like that one." And @st_ua_rt asked about the face of the food delivery giant Just Eat: "Roar is a tune and all that but when is Katy Perry going to do the Just Eat song."
Another fan @chiwithaC was also missing Katy's catchy Just Eat jingle. "Why isn’t katy perry singing did somebody say just eat?" they asked. And @FAShillcock said: "Personally I’m disappointed that Katy Perry didn’t sing the song which, for me, is her best: Did Somebody Say (Just Eat)."
A crowd of 20,000 people headed to Windsor Castle's East Lawn for the event, broadcast live on BBC One and BBC Radio 2. The rest of the musical line-up included Take That, Katy Perry, Lionel Richie and Paloma Faith, Andrea Bocelli and Sir Bryn Terfel, Pete Tong, Nicole Scherzinger, Steve Winwood, Lang Lang, Chinese pianist, Tiwa Savage, winner of MTV Europe Music Award for Best African Act, Lucy, winner of Channel 4's The Piano, The Coronation Choir and the Virtual Choir The Royal Ballet, the Royal Opera, the Royal Shakespeare Company, the Royal College of Music and the Royal College of Art and a 74-piece classical ensemble.
King Charles and Queen Camilla with other members of the royal family joined members of the public at the event after their crowning at Westminster Abbey yesterday. The concert followed the big Lunch Celebrations across the nation today and a walkabout by the Prince and Princess of Wales Prince William and Kate Middleton.
