ITV have confirmed that US popstar Katy Perry is set to film a one-off musical special.
The 90-minute “star-studded affair” titled Katy Perry: Night of a Lifetime, will be filmed in front on an A-list audience in December in London at Central Hall Westminster and go out later in the year on ITV1.
The 40-year-old I Kissed A Girl hit-maker will be joined by a number of celebrity guests onstage and is expected to belt out a number of her biggest hits such as Roar and Firework, as well as special renditions from her latest album, 143.
A press release teases that viewers can also expect “an array of exciting surprises throughout the night making this a truly unmissable event”.
Speaking about the special, Perry - who is engaged to British actor Orlando Bloom - said: “I am SO chuffed to transform Central Hall Westminster for this very cool and cozy evening for my UK fans. I can’t wait to be back in London, one of my favourite places in the world, for this up close and personal dance party of a LIFETIME.”
