Katie Taylor has no plans to walk away from boxing anytime soon - and is committed to making more history in 2023.
The undisputed lightweight champion turns 37 next summer and, although she knows she can't keep fighting forever, the Bray native insists she is not even considering hanging up her gloves.
Taylor pointed to a number of male fighters who are on top of their game in their mid 30s as she vowed to keep going for another while yet.

She said: "You definitely can't go on forever. I feel very, very good right now, very fresh. Looking at the whole of boxing right now - Terence Crawford … Oleksandr Usyk … Vasiliy Lomachenko - these guys are all of a similar age so I don't understand why everyone keeps asking me about retirement but I feel good."
Taylor will be expected to win convincingly against Argentina's Karen Elizabeth Carabajal tomorrow night, with a number of mega-fights on the horizon in 2023.
A rematch with Amanda Serrano at Croke Park remains at the top of Taylor's wish list, but she has also indicated that she would like to fight in Las Vegas, where a crossover bout with MMA stars Cris Cyborg or Holly Holm could be a possibility.
The winner of next week's bout between Jessica McCaskill and Chantelle Cameron in Abu Dhabi could also be an option for the lightweight queen.
Taylor commented: "There is no shortage of big fights out there – it doesn’t have to be Amanda Serrano. There are a lot of big fights for me out there."
On the possibility of fighting in Vegas, she added: "I would love to fight in Vegas – it was another mega of boxing. All the big fighters have fought there so that would be an amazing to take off my bucket list."
