Katie Price is armed with a spray can and ready to get creative in the very first teaser trailer for her upcoming new reality show.
The 43-year-old mum-of-five is famous for allowing her country home to fall into a state of untidiness and disrepair – becoming branded the ‘mucky mansion’.
But rather than be shamed over her messy home life, Katie has spotted a new career opportunity and has managed to convince Channel 4 to document her attempts to transform her house into a “former home” – and giving the show the ‘mucky mansion’ title.
Sharing a very first clip of the new series, Katie can be seen spray painting a piece of furniture – and sounding pretty excited about it.
Uploading the short three second clip to her own Instagram, Katie – wearing a pink hard hat and pink hi-vis vest – can be heard squealing: “Oh yeah, baby!” as she gets to grips with a bit of spray painting.
She captioned the video: “One thing I absolutely love is crafting and creating things, especially with the kids. During this series I’ve found lots of things I can make do and mend. Such fun!”
While the official Katie Price Mucky Mansion TV show Instagram page reveals that the star is: “creating something special” for her eldest daughter, Princess, while spray painting.
Fans have been left a little bemused by the star’s upcoming show.
One follower on Instagram asked her: “So there’s a tv programme about you cleaning your house?”
While another chastised her, writing: “Why did you let it get in such a mucky state in the first place.”
Other fans have been encouraged by the promotional clips and photos released so far and are excited to see Katie putting her recent troubles behind her and throwing herself into a new project.
One follower encouraged Katie and her new show, writing in the comments section of her post: “Cant wait for this. Never under estimate this girl, shes a fighter. Just love her, she keeps going for sure.”
But others have been left astonished that the troubled ex topless model is being handed a prime time show following her recent legal problems – with the star narrowly avoiding jail last month after admitting drink driving after she crashed her car last September.
One unimpressed follower commented: "can't believe it's being aired after her catalogue of misdemeanours!"
The official show Instagram offers further information on what fans can expect to see – and learn – as part of the upcoming show.
They write: “Katie Price is back as you’ve never seen her before.
“The model, best selling author and dedicated mum of five is turning her hand at all things interior design to transform her infamous ‘Mucky Mansion’ into a happy forever home.”
While further promotion for the show promises fans will have a front row seat to witness Katie's "fabulous designs and renovation skills."
Katie Price's Mucky Mansion is due to begin next Wednesday on Channel 4 at 9pm.
