Katie Price has received a flood of support from her pals in the celebrity world after she opened up about very personal struggles in her new Channel 4 documentary, Katie Price: Trauma and Me.
Ahead of the programme, which airs tonight, the mum-of-five has said that a lot of her trauma was firstly triggered from her being carjacked whist in South Africa back in 2018. The glamour model was with her children and a film crew when they were ambushed while travelling from Johannesburg late in the evening.
Katie opened up about the traumatic ordeal and said she was sexually assaulted, which left her having to be treated for traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) at The Priory clinic in London.
And many of Katie's pals have thrown support behind her ahead of the programme airing. Towie's Yazmin Oukhellou took to her Instagram stories to say she was extremely proud of her friend. She wrote: "So proud of you @katieprice for coming out with your trauma. You have been through the most and I can’t even imagine going through such an ordeal. Just know you are so strong and you’ve got this. Sending so much love.’
Katie went on to share Yazmin's post and wrote: "Thank you so much @yazminoukhellou can’t wait to catch up and know we are always there for each other".
The former glamour model sent support to Yazmin back in July after she was involved in a serious car accident which killed her boyfriend Jake McLean. Katie posted a photo of Yaz in a white bikini tip and skirt on her Instagram story.
She then made tributes to both Yazmin and Jake as she wrote: "Devastating news RIP Jake McLean and sending strength and love to @yazminoukhellou" followed by a crying face and red heart emoji.
