Katie Price has reportedly been forced to give up her driving licence, weeks after getting behind the wheel.
The 44-year-old former glamour model, who was only recently photographed behind the wheel of an uninsured and untaxed car, was handed a driving ban and suspended sentence after a single-car crash near her Sussex home in September 2021.
She pleaded guilty to drink-driving while disqualified and without insurance after the accident.
The former glamour model was handed a 16-week prison sentence suspended for 12 months, a two-year driving ban and 100 hours of community service.
After having her 24-month disqualification reduced by 24 weeks, Katie was initially allowed to return to driving.
But this has now changed as her licence was medically revoked, meaning she is no longer able to drive.
"Katie’s gutted that her return behind the wheel has been so short-lived," a source claimed.
They said Katie was initially "over the moon" to get back on the road.
"She has no choice but to keep her car off the road in order to avoid another court date," they added to The Sun.
The Mirror has contacted Katie's reps for comment.
Last month, it was reported that Katie purchased a £60,000 Hummer after her driving ban was lifted.
The car boasted a personalised number plate and huge suspended alloy wheels and she was pictured behind the wheel in flimsy footwear.
The TV personality even upset driving campaigners after she was seen taking to the wheel in flip-flops.
Following the fresh images of her driving in sliders, campaigners said it was a "disgrace".
"Those are the sort of shoes you'd expect somewhere to wear at a swimming pool - not driving a huge car like that with her driving record," one anti-drink driving campaigner told The Sun.
"It's an absolute disgrace and is very dangerous. She's putting herself and other road users at risk.
"I don't see how you'd safely be able to control such a car while wearing those shoes."
Former Met cop Peter Bleksley added to the publication: "This is shocking. It sets a terrible example."
The Highway Code does not state anything specific about driving without shoes but Rule 97 outlines: "You should ensure that clothing and footwear do not prevent you from using the controls in the correct manner."
