Katie Price slams fake account 'pretending to be me' and posting 'outrageous allegations'

Katie Price has slammed an online impersonator for posting what she claims are "some outrageous allegations".

The former glamour model, 43, has stressed to her fans that the Instagram account is not run or authorised by her, and pledged that the person responsible for the fake account will be "dealt with accordingly".

Katie - who is currently on holiday in Thailand - declined to share the name of the online imposter's account with her Instagram followers, in an attempt not to give the fake the "publicity they so desperately crave".

Taking to her Instagram Stories on Monday night, the mum-of-five shared a screenshot of another Instagram account and details of the accounts she has access to on her phone.

The fake accounts user name, handle and profile picture was concealed by Katie's edit, but the following count and number of followers it has (16) was visible.

"[Redacted] Proved a point again. Now [redacted]," text written over the screenshot reads.

Katie added: "There is an account pretending to be me and posting some outrageous allegations. This account is NOT me.

"I am not tagging them because I am not giving them the publicity they so desperately crave. But they will be dealt with accordingly."

Katie offered no further details about the account or who she believes is behind it.

Elsewhere on the star's Instagram Stories on Monday, Katie supported son Junior Andre from afar as she continues to enjoy her most recent holiday in Thailand.

Chart-topping Junior, 17, has been celebrating the success his highly-anticipated debut single Slide over recent weeks, which reached the top of the UK iTunes chart following its release last month.

Ahead of the singer - who Katie shares with ex-husband Peter Andre - appearing on Kiss FM on Monday night, his proud mum took to social media to send some love from overseas.

"Yes @officialjunior_andre us [sic] about to go on kiss fm," Katie informed her 2.7million followers.

"I'm listening in Thailand tube in now his first live interview [love-heart emoji]."

Katie was absent from Junior's single launch party last month, despite her sister Sophie Price attending the private function.

Having signed to Columbia Records last summer, the teenager took to the stage in June for his first ever performance of his now chart-topping track, Slide.

Junior was supported by his aunt Sophie, as well as his father Peter and 14-year-old sister Princess Andre.

Sophie - who recently tied the knot - shared a short clip of Junior arriving on the stage to applause.

Despite her absence, Katie shared the video to her Story and said she was 'so proud' of her son.

"Well done J absolutely smashed tonight," Sophie also wrote in a later snap.
