Katie Price has hit out at Channel 5 for airing a documentary about the 'rise and fall' of the her despite no collaboration with the former glamour model.
The 44-year-old has had a rollercoaster year that saw her narrowly avoiding jail for drink-driving, splitting with fiancé Carl Woods and having more cosmetic surgery than ever but the mum-of-five is adamant she is "in a really good place" despite the setbacks.
On Friday night, Channel 5 scheduled a documentary about the TV personality titled 'Shameless: The rise and fall of Katie Price'.
But after insisting that she had no involvement with show, Katie took to her Instagram Stories to her 2.6 million followers to comment about the broadcaster's programme.
Katie, who had son Harvey resting on her shoulder, said: "Hey everyone, apparently there is a documentary on me tonight, I think it's just started, called Shameless: The rise and fall of me. I just wanted you to know that I've had nothing to do with it.
"The people involved who were meant to be my 'friends', are not my friends and don't know anything about me either.
"I suppose they are going to get old interviews, archives of things, copy and paste, put things together but I just want you to know that a lot of us go up and then down and I am on my way up. I'm not falling at all and I'm in a really good place."
On the same post, she added a lengthy caption: "The funny thing is I'm happier than ever, my kids are happy and I have great friends and family around me. I certainly am not falling. This is a reminder to be kind.
"I think the media forget I have created an amazing life for my family from the age of 17 which I bet many others haven't had.
"I have travelled the world, worked hard and just because I am in the public eye I am used to make TV like this which I am nothing to do with.
"Therapy is the best thing I can recommend to anyone who is struggling," she added. "I admit I have had my ups and downs, relationship problems etc. but I am still here, strong and ready for 2023."
She pouted for the camera as she took a selfie while relaxing on the sofa before turning on the documentary about her life.
Katie took a snap of her TV screen which had the main titles of the show. Underneath she wrote a caption: "All I can do is thank my loyal fans."
She then tagged Channel 5 in here next photo with the line: "So funny watching my whole life on TV."
One part of the documentary pointed towards Katie and then-husband Peter Andre's version of Aladdin's A Whole New World during a performance on Children in Need in 2006.
Katie added a clip of vocal coach Carrie Grant analysing the performance on the programme to her Stories, writing: "I think you're wrong here @carriegrantsays know you teach people to sing but I did pull this version off, and will continue recording and releasing songs." She added a poll on the same post, asking: "Do you really think I can't sing here live on TV?"
