Katie Price slammed for promoting clothes with Bunny, 8, in 'full face of make-up'

Katie Price has once more sparked a debate after her business account posted pictures of her eight-year-old daughter wearing make-up in a promotional pic.

Many questioned why Bunny, who Katie shares with ex husband Kieran Hayler, needs to wear make-up at her age, while others said it was harmless fun.

The account, for Katie's equestrian clothing range, even hit back at the naysayers, writing: This is Bunny putting her own makeup on one day after school. She loves doing it….."

Underneath the two pictures, which sees Bunny wear a KP branded jacket and shirt, the caption reads: "Bunny looking gorgeous in her KP Equestrian dark pink polo top & lightweight blouson jacket."

One person wrote, in response: "Does she need a full face of make up though??"

Another said: "Why a full face of make up omg she's a child and red lippy aswell why."

An unimpressed Instagram user also penned: "Zero need for a full face of makeup!! Let her be a child fgs."

One outraged follower said: "Diabolical at her age and putting it on social media," to which someone else replied: "A child having some harmless fun by putting a little make up on is diabolical?"

Another person agreed and defended the picture, writing: "I have 3 daughters and all 3 of them would love putting makeup on at this age! It’s just harmless fun!"

One person thought everyone was overreacting, and penned: "Mate why is everyone being a Karen about a child wearing some make up get over yourself."

The Mirror have approached Katie's reps for further comment.

Katie, a mum-of-five, is a busy woman of late, not only promoting her equestrian range, but is also learning how to administer her own face fillers and Botox as she sets up a beauty salon at her home.

The model, whose list of procedures includes liposuction, eye lifts and having fat injected into her bum, starts a course in the New Year to learn her new trade, but reckons she has quite a lot of experience in the field already.

She says: “I’ve had enough of them in my life to know what’s good and what’s not.”

She is to convert her farmhouse’s annex into a clinic, explaining: “Well, I’ve got the car parking, and I pay council tax on the bloody thing, so I might as well use it.”

The clinic will be themed around her favourite doll, Barbie, but Katie admits she “might have to change a letter or something” in its name to avoid trademark issues.

In her interview with the Sunday Times, she shrugged off fears of ending up in prison, ahead of a bankruptcy hearing in February.

“If I do I’ll write a chapter for my next book and it will earn me money,” she said.

Katie is also set to have a foot operation in the next few days, as part of her on-going treatment a fall in Turkey two years ago.
