Katie Price's mum broke down on the three-part series of the model's TV show Mucky Mansion.
Speaking on the Channel 4 show, terminally ill Amy became emotional as she discussed dying and the family heirloom that she was passing down to her daughter.
Amy was creating a special room for her daughter, 43, at the huge home so that her legacy can live on even after she passes.
In 2017, she was diagnosed with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis which is incurable.
During the All4 series, Amy tells the cameras: "When you're not well you look at things in a different way and it would be nice if you can leave things that people can remember you by.
"Once it is done I want it to be a happy room, a comforting room, whenever she is sort of not feeling too good she can come in here and it will be quiet.
"And she can reflect. That's what I think will be nice for her.
"I've had this Chinese bureau for fifty years myself and well, it's just been with me."
Katie, clearly emotional, then opened open on why she wanted Amy to design a space in the home, calling it "special".
She said: "Because it could actually potentially be the last thing she ever does for me.
"And hopefully she doesn't pass, but when she eventually does, I know I have a room that she put together. It's sentimental, a nice room, a happy room to be in."
Amy's design sees the room covered in floral wallpaper and green walls along with bamboo-style furniture.
The look gets Katie's seal of approval, who tells her mum: "It actually looks good in here. No TV. Just a quiet room, no phones, no music, a new start, new beginnings.
"It's relaxing in here. Well done you two. I actually really do love it, I'm not going to change it."
She goes on to tell the cameras she is pleased with the job her mum has done and how impressed she is with the work.
Amy's illness causes scarring to the lungs which reduces her ability to breath.
Elsewhere in the show, Katie unveiled daughter Princess' transformed room after admitting the teen had refused to stay at the property.
Katie repainted her bedside table sparkling gold and repurposed a toy chest that had been in Princess’s room as a child - much to her daughter’s amazement when she finally walked in.
Walking in, Princess said: "I absolutely love my room. I'm actually really impressed with how it turned out."
